My Primaluna Dialogue 3 finally arrived this week and wow it’s everything I thought it would be and more!!! For years I’ve been looking for a tube pre amp to mate up
w/my hometheater but no luck until now. I wasn’t sure how the Primaluna would match up w/a pair of modified Threshold T-50’s (they run bridged at 100 wpc in
class a mode) but the synergy has been a musical dream. Dynamic, smooth great soundstage with excellent top and bottom end. I have a McIntosh MVP-851 for CDs &
a 25 year old Linn Sondek LP 12 for Vinyl. They sounded great in the past but the Primaluna has elevated the system a couple of levels. My Aerial 6’s now sound incredible. The HT bypass is a cinch. I’ve demoed BAT, CJ, Cary, Rogue, Mac and
Arc; all outstanding tube products. But the Dialogue 3 on price and performance can stand up to any high end line. Plus the money you save allows you to get more music.
I’m going to let this unit break in for a while then I’ll look into what type of tubes may be a good match for my system. The Dialogue 3 will get you off the upgrade wagon. Great job guys.

  2. Hi Kent,

What can I add to your comment? I am glad to see you feel we belong between the brands mentioned. That’s where we want to be and we do what we can to move the levels of quality and reliability UP as much as we can.

Keep us updated how you go with your new preamp in the future.

    Ciao,

    Herman van den Dungen

Hi Nobby, you’re looking good and I’m glad to see you’re still in the game. I was wondering what happened to you and found this in a goggle search. Just curious about some of the faces from the old days, but what happened to Stan after Tag Mc shut up shop?
    Cheers
    John
