    Physically you can use both 6550 and KT120. We know of people doing it. We have no problems reported. But … the DL7′s are NOT built and specified to be able to handle KT120 tubes. The powersupply is just a very little bit below what is actually specified for use with these tubes.As for your other questions: maybe start with something like YTER cables.
