   Hello
   I am the happy owner of a prologue integrated premium.
   While I am very pleased with their performance, I would experience the tube rolling.
   Can I replace the 12AU7 tubes by e80cc?

     Leo I’m using the Prologue Premium since 1 year ago, I bought 4 KT88 and 4 KT120, I’d tried both and let me tell you the experience with the KT120 is just amazing, Image and Stage comes crystal clear and dimension of music comes huge and realistic when playing live concerts, just like the real thing. Dynamics also very tangible and precise also improvement notice in the timbre nuances of voices, more fluid and less grainy like I’d experience with the KT-88, bass is tighter . A real improvement , I’m using my own design and built 3 way speakers based on Thiel & Partner drivers with the right Xover etc.

     Leo i have the DiaLogue Premium Preamplifier and you can swap out the 12au7s for e80cc yes. I would however recommend you try philips miniwatt sq e80cc in the inner two positions of the row of six, they are incredible as input tubes on this amplifier. This is the input positions for left and right channel. No need to put a full row of six in as it makes no difference imo. I would replace the remaining 4 12au7s in the outer two positions to something like the 6189w, as they are more stable long term being military grade. More linear tone, and higher build quality long term.

   Greetings Herman,

   I am about to get one PRIMALUNA DIALOGUE PREMIUM INTEGRATED or two PRIMALUNA DIALOGUE SIX MONOS. What are the advantages from the Premium vs the SIXes?. I have a pair of GOLDEN EAR TRITON II’S speakers.

   I jus would like a more clear scenario of where i would be:

   Why should i get the DIALOGUE SIX over the DIALOGUE PREMIUM INTEGRATED? and viceversa.
   Why should i get the DIALOGUE SIX over the PROLOGUE SEVEN? in this case “sound wise”

     Lot of questions which can only be answered by … assistance with a dealer who can demo you the differences and advantages of one towards the other. I don’t know the speaker, the room, the pramp you want to use with the mono’s etc etc.
