The high-end Audio Video show in Vietnam took place on September 6 to 8th. Audio Choice, our distributor, had two rooms -one dedicated to audio and the other one to headphones. Both rooms were a success.

Hi Mr. V-
i am a lucky owner of the Prima Luna CD player, powered by a PL Dialogue Premier Integrated Amp (Tungsol KT120) ) and a pair of Martin-Logan EM-ESL’s Electrostatic hybrid speakers.. I have tried to integrate a medium sized KRK sub, and then a big OutLaw sub, both unsuccessfullly, followed currently by a SVS top-of-their -line “SB13″ Ultra” sealed box subwoofer. The SVS is in “sore thumb” territory.
Can you nudge me in the better direction? Would an Audyssy or DSP Auto speaker calibration unit help me? Any good “pairing up” examples would be VERY helpful. I cant get my present choice of subs to blend into the 2.1 soundstage.

Wished I could help you from here but that is really impossible. It is an “in-the-field” situation to be solved “in the field” and hopefully there is a good dealer around. Next to that, my only experience with subs is from 1000 years ago with JANIS and DAHLQUIST subs …

“They” say you can. We had 4 pieces, started yesterday using them in one of the PL amps and 1 tube became blue, the AABBoard fuse broke and we could only continue by replacing that KT150 by a KT88 or KT120 (I am not sure which tube was used for replacement). The question is … was it just one bad tube out of four, or did the tube not like the amp ot the amp did not like the tube? Now I am still hesitating to say Yes, go ahead. Let’s test a few more months as soon as we have a few other KT150’s in stock.

Just let you know I’m running my Dialogue One with cryo’d KT120’s and Mullard CV4003’s cryo’d as well in the front being fed by an Oppo 105 via HomeGrown Silver Lace interconnect

Hi Herman- has the jury come in on the KT150’s? Btw, I paired an SVS 13″ Sealed Sub to my Martin logan electrostatics, and my KT120 Prima Luna Dialogue Premium / Classic CD System now scares small children. It makes grown women swoon. So too bad, ya little brats, too bad…
April 2014, wondering if there had been any progress on the KT150 with PrimaLuna amps as yet? I have a ProLogue Premium Integrated Amp running KT120’s without a problem at all. Interested to hear if any progress made.

We confirm it is OK to use the KT150 tubes in the DiaLogue amplifiers only.

KT150’s are allowed in DiaLogue models. Have no personal experience though.
