In this year book they also published their review of The PrimaLuna ProLogue Premium integrated Amplifier, Written by Dan Worth. We are proud that our ProLogue Premium Integrated is noted as ”Recommended” The full Year Book you can find on the website and Facebookpage of Hifi Pig magazine! The review of The PrimaLuna ProLogue Premium Integrated you find on page 43 t/m 46.

Some quote’s are:

”The more typical ‘old school’ valve enthusiast would take one look at this valve compliment and suggest that the amp would have a large, overblown midrange, soft bass
and perhaps a rolled off treble. How wrong he would be!”

”Vocals on the Prologue Premier are strong vibrantand clean in nature, projected and very slightly upfront- which is how I like them”

”With its ability to switch between KT88,EL34’s and their variants via a simpleflick of a switch and its non-deadly auto-biasing feature, the PrimaLuna is extremely flexible and should cater to the specifics of most users”

‘‘I for one would certainly stump up the pennies for one of these”

The Ear magazine: Product of the Year 2014: The PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP Power Amplifier

Posted on 06/01/2015 by beheerder

PrimaLuna-DiaLogue-Premium-HP-14We are happy and proud to annouce that our PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP Power amplifier is awarded as ”Product of the Year 2014” by The Ear magazine. Rene van Es has written a great review about the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP Poweramplifier.

His conclusion:

PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium HP

The PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium H(igh) P(ower) power amplifier can be used in stereo or as a mono block, and with a range of tubes starting with the EL34 and moving up to the KT-150. I preferred it with KT-120 tubes which gave 175 Watts for each channel in mono configuration. That’s more than enough power to drive a demanding pair of PMC fact.12 loudspeakers to realistic levels. These amps are as reliable as any decent transistor type, and should a tube fail it will warn you which one is defective. Replace it and you are back in business without any harm done to the speakers. The sound of the PrimaLuna Dialogue Premium HP is not the warm sound often found with tube amps, neither is it the over detailed class D sound. It is fluid, natural, powerful, detailed and you can tune the sound using different tube brands and types. After extended use I was loathe to let them go back to the manufacturer, I rather enjoyed the limitless dynamics and power reserves they offered. Build quality has proven to be excellent with PrimaLuna, which means you will enjoy them for many years and still they won’t break the bank.

Enjoy The Music: The Best Gear of 2014: The PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium Preamplifier

Posted on 05/01/2015 by beheerder

Best_Gear_Of_2014_smEnjoy The Music has published their 20 favorites reviews/products of the past year! In October 2014 Dick Olsher has written a great review about the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Premium Preamplifier.

His conclusion:

” The Dialogue Premium line preamp strikes me as one of the best things PrimaLuna has ever done. In particular, purity of expression and tonal realism are two of its strongest sonic assets. The incremental improvements to the Dialogue Three have borne fruit. The Premium version is now able to swim with and compete effectively against high-end’s cost-no-object heavyweights. And that, my fellow audiophiles, is a rarity. If you’re looking for a basic line preamp that is sanely priced and offers genuine tube magic, this is it! An enthusiastic two thumbs up recommendation! ”
