All tubes that come with our PrimaLuna (as well as Mystère) products, come with a printed logo. Why? Well because I think it looks nice. It looks professional. It proves that these tubes are TESTED by us. And yes … it is free advertisement.

The EL34, KT88, 12AU7, 12AX7, 6SN7, 5AR4 come from China and pass our PTS™ – Premium Tube Selection process. All PrimaLuna products come with PrimaLuna SilverLabel tubes which are pre-selected by us following our simple 60 out of 100 rule (PTS™ – Premium Tube Selection) and as such, are already “special” when compared to other standard tubes on the market.

The new KT120 tube however is not made in China. It is Made in Russia for the American owner of the Tungsol brand. These tubes in fact travel quite a bit before you are listening them. Made in Russia. Sent to USA. Sent to the manufacturers using them. In our case the tubes are sent from USA to The Netherlands as entering foreing products into China is a time-consuming depressive job. So … the KT120 tubes we  have sent out till now HAD NO PRIMALUNA LOGO. 😦 😦 :-(.

But … as of today, we also have in The Netherlands a tampon printing machine to print our logo on the tubes! After 1 day instruction by the supplier, Richard immediately started printing the PrimaLuna logo on the Tungsol KT120 tubes!

Next to that all tubes are tested by Richard with our Amplitrex AT1000 tube tester. To be sure we supply you with good tubes and to be able to make matched sets  for the customers who prefer that.
